I am scottish and have never heard of shide in a scottish or celtic form.  shide to me is a shinto paper streamer that looks a bit like a thunderbolt.

Don't mind me saying this but Humpa sounds suspiciously like a BORAT impersonator.
Making me understanding what meaning of this?

I would say look more towards Irish folklore.
And sometimes they can be found under the names of ( Fae, Fairy, Faerie, The Wee Folk, And Seelie.)
The Irish find these people sometimes as a good thing then sometimes not.
It's depends on the how's & why's of the meeting.
Also there are different types of these magickal people.

Daizy.
