History Of Tarot
Tarot reading goes
back thousands of years; it is unknown when it first arrived though. Old
emerald tablets in Egypt had pictures of plates and discs on them, which
could be an early form of the cards. In 600 AD the early Christian
churches had memo cards which contained pictures and gypsies also used
similar cards. Even though there is much evidence of cards being used
this long ago; the modern version of tarot is very new and was developed
within the 19th century.
