Chinese Zodiac
In the Chinese Zodiac there are also 12 animals which correspond to the
birth year and every 12 years the animal cycle repeats.
The years are then split into the animal signs; these are the Rat, Cow,
Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Chicken, Dog and
Pig.
Not only are there elements and animals for each year, but the years
also have a different color each time round. The colors are worked out
by the stems. The colors relate to the elements. Metal is white, Water
is black, Wood is green, Fire is Red, and Earth is Brown.
Not only are years named in this method but days and months are also
named. My birthday is the 2nd July 1986 this makes my year Red Male Fire
Tiger; my month is Green Male Wooden Horse, and my day is the day of the
Red Female Fire Sheep.
