Characteristics
Horoscopes have been made for the animals but these are not regarded
seriously by Chinese folk. The animal signs have a useful function of
finding out people’s ages without having to directly ask them for their
age. Although Chinese do not take the meanings of the animals seriously
there are meanings for each animal, these are as follows.

are quick tempered and overly critical.
