Muladhara, Root/base Chakra
The root/base chakra is located at the very base of our
spine. This chakra helps us with grounding to the physical
world and basic survival needs. This chakra is what causes
the element of fear in our minds.
Balanced: Healthy, alive, unlimited
physical energy, feeling of being cantered, secure and
grounded.
Excessive energy: Greed, weight swings
and digestion problems.
Lack of energy: Sexual abstinence,
physical pain, feel unlovable, constant fear and lack of
confidence.
Illnesses: arthritis, drug addictions,
anemia, cancer, heart disease, herpes and aids.
Methods to balance: House cleaning,
dancing, walking barefoot in summer, introducing red
