While reading astro books,many a times, we come across the term strong or weak house.What are the criteria of determining the strength of house/s?
There are NINE yardsticks of measuring house strength. They are..,
1-If owner of the house occupies his house.
2-If owner of the house casts full aspect(drushti) on own house.
3-If MERCURY & JUPITER both simultaneously or singlehanded occupy any house.
4-If MERCURY & JUPITER BOTH simultaneously or singlehanded cast full aspect
on any house.
5-If house significator cast full aspect on the house,
it signifies.
6-If strong ruler of the house, occupies, angle,trine,or eleventh house from the ascendant, the house of which, the star is ruler.
7-If  benefic  planet occupies second, angle, trine, or elevanrh house from any house ,that particular house gain strength.
8-If house is in between two benefic stars.
9-If house is in shubhakrtari yoga.
House becomes strong  if five out of nine criteria are favourable.

6-Sign should possess Kalbal,
7-Sign should have Bhav bala.
8-Sign should have resemblance of colour in sign & house
9-Sign should have strength og bhav+star.
If five reasons out of nine are secured,sign is strong.
