We have a crow at home whom we rescued after he fell out of the nest...we call him Rudy...and he is so clever and funny....LOL

I did in the beginning Nicole..LOL, but he throws them out of his cage...

He much more prefers the cats parading past his cage so he can grab their tails....LOL

I find a bird is the best pet, you don't have to walk it.

You might not have to walk it, but you still have to clean it's cage on a daily basis...make sure it has clean food and water on a daily basis, give it attention and make sure it's nails don't grow too long.  

Then if you clip it yourself, you have to make sure not to clip too deep or he will bleed through his nails and it is very hard to stop and in extreme cases he can lose so much blood that it kills him.

You can also not put your music at full blast since he will be completely stressed out which can also kill him.

You can also not keep him in full sunlight, since he may overheat and die from heat exhaustion.

You also have to make sure his cage is not in a draught, as he can pick up a cold from that and die...

If you don't clean his cage on a daily basis, he can become sick from his own excrement, picking up fungus and bacteria which could affect his beak, his feathers, his feet, his eyes and his general health...

I have to change my crow's water about four times a day, because he uses it to bath in, to wash his food in...and to drink it....

So perhaps walking a dog doesn't seem so bad after all....
