When eating Chinese food with friends, it's a popular pastime to break open the fortune cookie, read the fortune aloud, and add "In Bed" or "between the Sheets" to the end of it. Earlier today, I found a box of old fortune cookie notes, that would have been particularly amusing...

~You will earn a large sum of money
~Today is your lucky day
~Your talents are soon to be discovered
~Be willing to try new things
~You are about to embark on a long, hard journey
~You will always have the love of your family
~You will find your true calling
And my personal favorite:
~Above all else, love yourself

Anyway, those are mine... if anyone wants to add fortune cookie sayings to the list, real, or at least convincing, please do.

They weren't the last winning lottery (aka lotto) numbers.  (I think they were the numbers).  It was the only fortune I ever received that did not have a fortune on the other side.  I wrote my own in, of course, but I don't think it came true!  Something about true love, riches and delirious joy, lol!
