Elecampane
Also known as Horse-heal. Perennial plant found mostly in the Great Britain, South Europe, and the Far East. Grows up to 5 ft. Of height. Has many uses. Mostly in making medicines such as: expectorant, antiseptic, Diuretic, astringent, diaphoretic and alterative. Is an essential ingredient for herbal medicines for pulmonary diseases, cough, dyspepsia etc. Is always mixed with some other medicines. The root is used in making sweets like candy or lozenge.
